The Thardferr Calendar
It is the Elves, particularly the High Elves, that consider the passing of time an important event. Strange that the Elves are the longest living creatures on Thardferr and, some, consider the High Elves to be either immortal or very close. The present calendar is an invention of the Elves, they use it to track the phases of the three moons. Since the commerce and governments need a source to track time the races had started using the Elvish prior to the time of Ellen Brand.
The Thardferr year consists of 250 days which is divided into 10 months, each month having 5 weeks, each week having 5 days. The 10 months are (named after ancient Elf Homes):

Some of the races have problems pronouncing the names of the Elvish months and days and have devised another system which deals with numbers. Since there are 10 months 5 weeks and 5 days, a system is used where the month number, week number and day number are used for a date. For example: 734 is the 7TH month (SITRAAL), the 3RD week and the 4TH day of the week (QUATRITIA); second example: 1021 is the 10TH month (QUARK), the 2ND week and the 1ST day (ALARTA). This is a crude system used by merchants, guilds and traders, is widely accepted and used in all 6 realms (reluctantly, even in the Elf realm).
